In a shocking announcement Sunday on Meet The Press Former Secretary of State, Former Secretary of Defense, National Security Adviser, and life long Republican; General Colin Powell endorsed Barrack Obama for President of the United States.
General Powell prefaced his announcement with clear and decisive reasons for why he would be voting for Obama over his friend, colleague, and Republican ally of 25 years, John McCain.
The first reason Powell stated…”I looked at which one of the
two gentlemen could deal with the financial crisis in a decisive, and immediate nature. “My friends” it is no secret who I passionately, support in this presidential race. I am not a left-winged, liberal fanatic. I am a deeply frustrated, typical American woman that like all American’s has watched our once great country fall apart in the hands of self-serving, arrogant, immoral, ignorant politicians. Not just republicans, but democrat’s as well.
